Today the kid I drive to PM kindergarten told me: "I think I had a wocket in my pocket and it went into my backpack.' And then she put the backpack on her head in search of cheese. Every time I play Quidditch with the kids at the school, there is a riot. Everyone wants to be the Seeker, no one wants to be a Beater, kids get aggressive scoring the goals, and Slytherin is always arguing with each other. Seriously. One of the children at the daycare presented me with a book she'd got at her school's book fair for me. It was one of the Avatar: The Last Airbender mini-novels, summing up some of Book Two: Earth. No reason, she was just aware that I liked the show and chose to get the book for me. It helped with the rest of the day.

In today's news, children need to get their own unique childhood and quit pirating mine. Transformers, Ninja Turtles, My Little Ponies, Power Rangers, Pokemon...I mean, dear god. What's going to be resurrected next, Duck Tales and She-Ra?

Traaaansfiguration! My favorite class, because I was a tricky, tricky person today with the help of my handy dandy assistant fellow teacher. I brought in both a lemon and a Buddha's hand lemon, which is quite probably the most fucked-up fruit you'll ever find, in for the lesson today.
